Global Search: one search across every tool

One search across all your tools that surfaces answers, not just results, and tells you when things change.

Chris Russo · December 2025

Global Search is one search box over the places a team’s knowledge actually lives: chat, meetings, projects, documents and the website.

Everywhere at onceSlack, meeting transcripts, project tasks, Google Drive and the public website, in one index.

Words and meaningKeyword and semantic search together, so the right answer turns up even when you phrase it differently.

AlertsTell it what to watch, and it tells you when something changes.

Why we built it

Knowledge at a small company is scattered across a dozen tools. We were tired of knowing the answer existed and not being able to find it.

Global Search was made at Matters and is deployed at Savas Labs, which uses it every day and brings it to clients.
